Ronni Ward — rhythm guitar / lead & backup vocalist

Ronni Ward

With poetry and grace, a touch of soul and rock n’ roll: this would best describe her unique contemporary style; the music that God has put in Ronni Ward’s heart. Ronni became a singer from her earliest memory. I have never doubted that music was my calling. It’s only natural that it would also become my service to the Lord.

Watch Ronni sing Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” (Quicktime, 40MB, 2:32)

Music was a way of life for Ronni, singing in the church choir (that her mom directed) and singing harmony with her older brother and sister at home. I remember as a child, listening to my sister harmonize with my mom as my brother played the guitar. I would just drink it all in!

And she has never stopped making music; from playing at her own high school prom to fronting her own band to recording in Nashville to becoming a published songwriter. She also traveled around the region with Cowtown, the group that she co-founded with her husband, Ted Ward. My desire is to bless people with my voice and my songs. I hope my music will help someone who’s going through a trial or encourage someone at just the right time. I want to share God’s love in a way that maybe someone will know they’re important to Him.
