May 17 - Johnny Hudson and Michelle Lea
Johnny Hudson has become an ACJ favorite. Johnny has his own show in Arkansas and is taking the time to join us at ACJ, performing hits of the great country legends. Along with Johnny, gracing our stage will be Michelle Lea. Michelle has grown up on the stage and is maturing into a great vocalist. Michelle recently returned from Nashville as a regional finalist for the NBC show “Nashville Star”. Visit Michelle’s web page at www.michellelea.net.

Annie’s Country Jublilee is just one awesome show. Michelle had a blast singing some of the most recent country hits yet performing a couple of classic country tunes. The Band is awsome as usual!! Hailey Walker brought down the house with “A Broken Wing” and another guest performer by the name of Johnny Hudson wowed the audience with his supurb vocals. Thanks a lot guys we had a blast and look forward to performing at Annie’s sometime in the near future!! See ya soon!!

Hey, it’s late and I should be sleeping, but I’ve counted up to 500 sheep and still awake. Wonder why? Trying to wind down from Annies Country Jubilee. The show, as usual, was a real hoot, even Johnny got in on the “Hoot” thing. Thanks Steve and Annie for doing “Your the reason God made Oklahoma” I loved it. There is another song I’d like to hear from the two of you, but can’t remember the name for sure. Something about Montana and seeing mountains in your eyes. I think Marie Osmond and someone (I have not a clue), or maybe Dottie West and someone. It’s a really great song. Marvin I liked your “Golden slipper”,and David and Fred did a good job with that too. I liked Jims Ray Price song. What am I rattling on ahout. Everyone did a terrific job. Michelle was great. I think it was the first time I saw her,and hope she’s back soon. I enjoyed Johnny Hudson too, as well as his C.Ds. Guess that’s one reason it’s so late, I had to listen to more music after getting home. Well there’s a lot more to be said, but your probably tired of my babbling, so have a blessed sleep. See you next week.

PS, Knew I was forgetting something I really wanted to say. I enjoyed the gospel Steve did. I’d never heard Amazing Grace done that way. I’m not sure if that’s the right name for the song, but I think it was. Very good. If I got this all wrong, forgive please, I think not I will be able to get some sleep.G’night
